We are looking for a senior research scientist in the area of food science and technology, especially for designing solid, semi-solid and liquid food systems from lab to pilot scale. The applicant is expected to have concrete knowledge on the processing technologies in food ingredient development and manufacturing as well as on technological functionality of protein and carbohydrate based ingredients in food matrices. Industrial post-doc experience and motivation for Food Economy 4.0 innovations is highly appreciated.
- Completed PhD degree in food science, technology or engineering, or related fields.
- Research experience from lab to pilot scale unit operations
- Track record for international project preparation and applying project funding
- Ability to conduct academic and contract research within an interdisciplinary environment
- Excellent communication, reporting and organisational skills
- Good network within food industry as well as scientific community
